Welcome to the Feather River Canyon !

This is our little tribute to one of the greatest places on earth.

We have been to the Canyon 3 times, and are still awed by its beauty & the obstacles nature has thrown at the railroad. Every time we drive through it, it is like the first time. Our necks get sore from trying to look at everything there is to see. Each time we discover new things we overlooked before. This is one of the greatest marriages of Nature & Man, they seem to fight at times, but it is usaully a spectacular display of harmony. I think those of you who have been here will agree, and those who have not had the pleasure should plan your next vacation with at least a drive threw the Feather River Canyon.

The following table displays a quick reference guide of locations along the Feather River Canyon. These were greatly added upon by the chart provided by the Portola Railroad Museum. I do not promise them to be fully accurate, just a quick reference guide.

This page is dedicated to the memory of Todd Allen Lamp, who was taken from this world at an early age. One of his greatest loves was photography, and I can think of no other place on earth that is more beautiful to me. I only wish that Todd could have made it here to capture its beauty.
